  • Jakhu Ropeway, Shimla

The cable car allows one to visit the Jakhu Hill (Jakhoo Temple) from mall road, in a 6-minute cable car ride with a breath-taking view of the Shimla hills and town forests.

  • Gulmarg Gondola, Jammu & Kashmir

This two-stage 2.5 km ropeway service connects Gulmarg resort and Apparwath peak which is at an altitude of 4200 m. The first phase takes you from Gulmarg resort to Kongdori valley and the second phase connects from Kongdori valley to Apparwath.

  • Auli Cable Car, Uttarakhand

Trekking and skiing is fine, but have you experienced a cable car ride in Auli, Uttarakhand. If you are going by bus, get down at Joshimath and take a cable car to Auli. This 4 Km long cable car ride takes around 20 mins to reach Auli, as one of the longest cable car rides in India. The experience feels like heaven!

  • Solang Valley, Himachal Pradesh

Located 12 km north of Manali, Solang valley is a beautiful tourist attraction. The amazing cable car ride begins from Solang valley and ends at Mt. Phatru at a level of 3200 m. In the winters, Manali is home to a load of adventures like skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, hiking, camping, traversing, zorbing, etc. and the enchanting views of snow-capped mountains are grandly beautiful!

  • Darjeeling, West Bengal 

The Darjeeling ropeway ride gives a breath-taking experience of the panoramic view of the valleys, snow-capped mountains, and the lush green tea garden spread. This is one of the oldest ropeways in India to start in 1968 and it descends from 7000 ft. to 800 ft., covering Singamari to Singla Bazar.

  • Gangtok Ropeway, Sikkim

This cable car ride of Gangtok serves as one of the glorious views of the Himalayas with snow-capped Mt. Kanchenjunga peaks and panoramic surrounding valleys. The ropeway ride starts from Deorali market, stopping at Namnang and Tashiling.
